I’ve been coaching athletes since 2023. From first time sprint triathletes, to first time Ironman racers, to runners looking for a personal best - I’ve helped athletes just like you get to the start line and across the finish line achieving their goals. Your passion fuels you. I can help you make it happen.
I’ve been a triathlete since 2011. I’ve completed Sprint, Olympic, Half-Ironman, and Ironman distance races. I’m a coach at the Ottawa Triathlon Club. I am a Triathlon Canada Licensed Coach.
I know what it takes to achieve your goals. To fuel your fire. I've coached athletes just like you. There's nothing I love more than watching someone achieve what they didn't know they could do.
Research on exercise and training is advancing all the time. There are science-backed truths that tell us how to build endurance and speed in athletes. These truths are consistent across all athletes, and constantly evolving. It’s my job to apply these truths to your training plan to help you get fitter, faster.
That being said, every athlete is different. We all start from different places and have different goals. We have different work and family circumstances, different availabilities, and different health backgrounds. Your plan needs to be specific to you, your background, your goals, and your circumstances.
And sometimes life throws you a curveball. Sometimes plans need to change. I’ll help you through that too. It’s very common to adjust your plan as we go.
How will we do this? A combination of having a plan to guide us, using data to make data-driven adjustments, and frequent high-value discussions to make sure the plan is working right for you:
We’ll start with detailed discussions about your starting point, goals, and the unique circumstances that impact your training
I’ll build a plan for you, and based on that plan I'll deliver detailed workouts to you using TrainingPeaks
On a weekly basis I’ll monitor your workout data in TrainingPeaks. This will help me watch for any changes necessary
I'll proactively reach out to you to get your feedback on the workouts. Without your feedback, the data doesn’t tell a complete story. With these two pieces together we can make informed and proactive adjustments to you plan as needed
I'll be available to you. Reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have. That's the value of having a coach!
All of my clients receive the same top-tier service for a single monthly fee:
A written personalized training strategy and plan, adjusted as frequently as necessary (no maximums)
Daily specific workouts created for you, uploaded to TrainingPeaks ahead of time on a weekly or biweekly basis
Unlimited touch points with me. I’ll respond to your questions within 48hrs (or faster where I can), and if I don’t hear from you I’ll reach out. We can talk about:
How the workouts are feeling
The strategy of your workouts
How well you’re recovering
Nutritional or equipment questions
Adjustments you’d like to make
Race strategy and planning session as your key race dates approach
Race debrief session following your key race dates
For all this, my fee is $150/month, with a 3 month minimum commitment.
(Current Ottawa Triathlon Club members receive a $25/month discount)
